Island Apiaries

Island Apiaries is run by David and Mollyshannon Neel. David first discovered keeping bees when he was 6 years old and in 2008 decided to bring Island Apiaries into being. We provide local and regional honeys at the Bayview market. David is keenly interested in the current troubles that are plaguing bees . David also feels that developing regional strains of bees that are more adapted to the regions where they will be kept is key to overcoming the hardships that today’s honeybees face. We feel that education is key to the future of beekeeping on both a hobbyist and commercial scale. We welcome anyone to contact us with questions.
