Seelystones

My medium is glass — usually tumbled recycled glass pieces called glass cullet which I purchase in Seattle from Bedrock Industries. Stained glass scrap, polished agate, mosaic tiles, flat marbles, and ball chain are also used to create mosaic-like designs on tables, trays, birdbaths, stepping stones, globes, and mirrors for both indoor and outdoor use. I have used glass cullet on my bathroom counters as well as my kitchen and dining room counters (where I combined recycled glass panels with glass cullet) and used glass cullet for highlights when installing my ceramic tile entry.

I enjoy using recycled materials whenever possible and find the process of creating as fulfilling as the end result, especially when experimenting with something new — a new images, a new material, or a new application.
