Start your Holiday Weekend at the Market
It's Memorial Day weekend — a great time to visit the market. The weather's turned Springlike and the market's full of reminders that it's "that time" to get things growing. Come find plant starts, flowers, great Spring greens, cheese, chocolate, cakes and pies...and lots of great artisan crafts.
The Bayview Farmers Market runs every Saturday — rain or shine — from 10am to 2pm, at Bayview Corner. Whether you live here, call Whidbey Island your "weekend home", or are just visiting for the day, there's something for everyone.
If you get to the market early this weekend you'll find a great selection of Spring's freshest treats — radishes. Great for salads or just plain eating. Photo by Gavin Imes.

Bayview Farmers Market President Shirlee Read tries out one of the new benches just installed around the market campus at Bayview Corner. The solid, rustic benches were created by market vendor/wood artist Bob Bowling. Come by, see his handiwork and rest a while as you shop the market this weekend.
